01Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, you should not access or use the Site.

You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and, where you use the Site on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

02Definitions

• Hire Standard means Hire Standard LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with its principal place of business at 5 Stair St., Easton, PA 18042.
• Services means the executive search, recruitment, and workforce-advisory services offered by Hire Standard, together with the informational content and features made available through the Site.
• Client means an organization that engages Hire Standard to perform search or recruitment services.
• Candidate means an individual who submits information to, or is presented by, Hire Standard in connection with a potential role.
• User, you, or your means any person who accesses the Site.

03Use of the website

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for lawful, personal, or internal business purposes. You agree not to:

• use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation;
• copy, reproduce, scrape, or harvest content or data except as expressly permitted;
• use automated means, including bots, crawlers, or data-extraction tools, to access the Site or collect its content, including for the purpose of training artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or related systems;
• introduce malware, or otherwise interfere with the operation or security of the Site;
• use the Site to transmit unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or solicitations.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

04Our services

Hire Standard provides executive search and recruitment services focused on the manufacturing and industrial sectors. Content on the Site is provided for general information only and does not constitute an offer, a binding commitment, or professional advice.

The specific terms of any search or recruitment engagement are set out in a separate written agreement between Hire Standard and the Client. Where there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed engagement agreement, the engagement agreement controls with respect to that engagement.

05No guarantee of placement or employment

Hire Standard is a search and recruitment firm, not an employer of the Candidates it presents. We do not guarantee that any Candidate will be hired, that any position will be filled, or that any particular outcome, timeline, or result will be achieved. Hiring decisions rest solely with the Client, and employment decisions and terms are between the Client and the Candidate.

06Client engagements & fees

Fees, payment terms, guarantee periods, and the scope of any engagement are governed exclusively by the written agreement signed by the Client and Hire Standard. Nothing on the Site should be read as a quotation or a binding fee arrangement. Submitting an inquiry through the Site does not create an engagement or any obligation on either party until a written agreement is executed.

07Candidate submissions

If you submit a résumé, application, or other information to Hire Standard, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You consent to Hire Standard storing and processing that information, and sharing it with prospective Clients, for the purpose of evaluating and pursuing suitable opportunities, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Hire Standard charges no fees to Candidates at any time. Submitting a résumé or other information does not create an obligation on Hire Standard to represent you, present you to any Client, or secure any interview, offer, or position. In any engagement, Hire Standard acts on behalf of the Client. No agency, representation, or fiduciary relationship with a Candidate is created by use of the Site or by any submission through it.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information beyond what is reasonably necessary for recruitment. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

08Communications consent

By providing your contact information through the Site or otherwise to Hire Standard, you consent to being contacted by Hire Standard regarding recruitment opportunities and our Services, including by phone, email, and text message. You may opt out of these communications at any time by replying to the message, using an unsubscribe link where provided, or contacting us at info@hirestandardpartners.com. Message and data rates may apply to text messages.

09Equal employment opportunity

Hire Standard identifies, evaluates, and presents Candidates on the basis of qualifications, experience, and fit for the role, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. We support our Clients' equal-opportunity hiring practices and comply with applicable equal-employment laws in the conduct of our Services.

10Confidentiality

Hire Standard treats Client and Candidate information with discretion and handles confidential information in line with the terms of the applicable engagement agreement and our internal policies. You likewise agree to keep confidential any non-public information made available to you through the Site or the course of an engagement, and to use it only for its intended purpose.

11Intellectual property

The Site and its contents — including text, graphics, logos, the "Hire Standard" name and marks, layout, and design — are owned by or licensed to Hire Standard and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license in Section 3, no right or license is granted to you. You may not use our name, logos, or marks without our prior written consent.

12Third-party links & content

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We provide these for convenience only and do not endorse, and are not responsible for, the content, products, or practices of any third party. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

13Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described there. If the Privacy Policy and these Terms conflict on a data-handling matter, the Privacy Policy controls.

14Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that information on the Site is accurate, complete, or current. Any reliance you place on Site content is at your own risk.

15Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hire Standard and its members, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

16Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hire Standard and its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your use of the Site, your submissions, or your breach of these Terms.

17Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 18, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, for any dispute not subject to arbitration.

18Dispute resolution

The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting each other. If a dispute cannot be resolved within thirty (30) days, either party may submit it to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, seated in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Each party bears its own attorneys' fees and costs, and the parties share the arbitrator's fees and administrative costs equally unless the arbitrator awards otherwise under applicable rules. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Arbitration is conducted on an individual basis. To the extent permitted by law, you and Hire Standard waive any right to participate in a class or representative action. Either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.

19Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

20General

• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any signed engagement agreement, are the entire agreement between you and Hire Standard regarding the Site.
• Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
